Production of “LIFE in TOKYO: Your Guide”

Commissioned by the Tokyo Intercultural Portal Site (Tokyo Foundation for Intercultural Communication), we were involved in the planning, editing, and production of the multilingual guidebook “LIFE in TOKYO: Your Guide”, created for foreigners living in Tokyo for the first time.
Published in 10 languages—including English, Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, Nepali, and Japanese with furigana—the guidebook was made available both in print and as a digital publication.
Our main responsibilities included:

  • Editing Japanese texts with furigana (phonetic guides)
  • Commissioning illustrations
  • Researching and verifying the content to be published

We worked in collaboration with the Tokyo Foundation for Intercultural Communication to produce this multilingual guidebook for foreigners starting a new life in Tokyo.
Published in 2025 (Spring) in 10 languages, the guidebook was released both in print and digital formats.

Our main contributions included drafting the Japanese text, producing illustrations, and verifying the listed information.

We also created illustrations for the FY2023 “Disaster Preparedness Q&A Manual for Foreign Residents” (Web version), also produced by the Tokyo Foundation for Intercultural Communication.
