When Mais Co., Ltd. has been founded in 1996, the CEO went abroad for a personal matter, she got sick but couldn’t explain clearly her illness. Starting from this fact, Dr Passport has been created. Thanks to a bilingual version, you can explain your symptoms to any doctors and hotel staff including your history or chronic disease.
Dr Passport (Booklet version)
Doctor Passport is a very useful booklet in both language (Japanese and your mother tongue) created in order to help you communicate with health care professionals. With more than 240 different sentences, this guide will save you from different unpleasant situations without understanding Japanese kanjis. It is also useful for women or children’s troubles and can be used with doctors, hospital front offices, pharmacies etc. You can even write down your personal health history. Since its release in 1991, it has been heavily used by tourists, international students, and people working abroad.
